Artist Statement
This piece represents communication. The TV represents modern, daily communication. The static represents miscommunication. The pendulum board represents a less modern and less efficient mode of communication. The candles represent a communication that has ended or been cut off. This all comes together to represent the different forms of communication that are present today, as well as some of the pitfalls of these types of communication.
